Why we Worship

PSALM 47

Clap your hands, all peoples!
  Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared,
  a great king over all the earth.
He subdued peoples under us,
  and nations under our feet.
He chose our heritage for us,
  the pride of Jacob whom he loves.

God has gone up with a shout,
  the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
  Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
  sing praises with a psalm!

Why Sing?

God reigns over the nations;
  God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather
  as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
  he is highly exalted!

I'll Be That Man

THEME: God is looking for men and women who will represent him fearlessly, who are willing to take the kingdom of God into places where the kingdom of this world has wrecked havoc. This song helps the worshipper to say "here I am."

Lyrics | Description

There's a wall that's broken down
And a gap that's in its place
And a God of love who longs to show His grace
Help me pray, to intercede
For a world in desperate need
If you'll help me Lord to stand
I'll be that man
With the Spirit's pow'r in me
I'll be that man

Lord I long to play a part
to display your loving heart
From the patterns of this world now set me free
May your ways in me be shown
Pleasing you and you alone
If you'll help me Lord to stand
I'll be that man
With the Spirit's pow'r in me
I'll be that man
