Why we Worship

PSALM 47

Clap your hands, all peoples!
  Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared,
  a great king over all the earth.
He subdued peoples under us,
  and nations under our feet.
He chose our heritage for us,
  the pride of Jacob whom he loves.

God has gone up with a shout,
  the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
  Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
  sing praises with a psalm!

Why Sing?

God reigns over the nations;
  God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather
  as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
  he is highly exalted!

THEME: “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”-- Revelation 7:17

Lyrics | Description

The timeless theme, earth and heaven will pass away

It’s not a dream, God will make all things new that day

Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell

Evil is banished to eternal hell

NO MORE NIGHT, NO MORE PAIN

NO MORE TEARS, NEVER CRYING AGAIN

PRAISES TO THE GREAT “I AM’

WE WILL LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF THE RISEN LAMB

See all around, Now the nations bow down to sing

The only sound is the praises to Christ our King

Slowly the names from the book are read

I know the King, so there’s no need to dread

NO MORE NIGHT, NO MORE PAIN

NO MORE TEARS, NEVER CRYING AGAIN

PRAISES TO THE GREAT “I AM’

WE WILL LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF THE RISEN LAMB

BRIDGE

See over there, it’s a mansion prepared for me

Where I can live with my Savior eternally

NO MORE NIGHT, NO MORE PAIN

NO MORE TEARS, NEVER CRYING AGAIN

PRAISES TO THE GREAT “I AM’

WE WILL LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF THE RISEN LAMB
