Purpose: |
Who likes change? Most of us find it unsettling, and seek to avoid it. But change is unavoidable. God, however, is not only unchanging, but follows us wherever that change may take us, showing his faithfulness day by day.
Commentary: | Remember that old saying, "I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future!" Life is unpredictable, as much as we try to control it. But we take comfort in this, God is not surprised at the twists and turns. Change happens, but the same faithful, dependable, attentive, powerful, living God is ready to lead us through anything, and bring us safely to the other side. Our job is to trust, and to hang on!
