Purpose: |
When we hear scripture read, we hear the voice of the Lord. And God's word always "finds its mark." It never is ineffective. We need to hear it and heed it.

THE VOICE OF THE LORD is a worship service that incorporates the reading of Isaiah 28-35 as part of the worship service. The listening to God's word as given to Isaiah is the main focus.
When we hear God's word, our heart must respond. If we turn a "deaf ear" then our heart gets hardened. Not a good thing. If we let the scripture be like water, then our heart experiences a softening, and the seed of the word is able to take root, to germinate and become eventual fruit.
May the latter happen, not the former, to the glory of God.
