Why we Worship

PSALM 47

Clap your hands, all peoples!
  Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared,
  a great king over all the earth.
He subdued peoples under us,
  and nations under our feet.
He chose our heritage for us,
  the pride of Jacob whom he loves.

God has gone up with a shout,
  the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
  Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
  sing praises with a psalm!

Why Sing?

God reigns over the nations;
  God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather
  as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
  he is highly exalted!

Why Scripture?

I Will Not Fear

THEME: With God on our side, we have an advantage that the world knows nothing of, and His presence means that we can trust instead of fretting. Fear is a warning light that we are not trusting.

Lyrics | Description

I will not fear
Though tens of thousands
Draw up against me
On every side
I will not fear
Though the enemy oppose me
I won't run and hide

I've got a shield
A mighty fortress
I've got the Lord
And He's got me

I will not fear
For the Lord delivers
When I call He answers me
I will not fear
I am sheltered
In the safety of His loving arms
